Role Overview:
The Principal of General Studies will be a visionary educational leader who ensures academic excellence, student well-being, and faculty development. This role requires a strong commitment to Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), restorative discipline practices, and fostering a positive school culture.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee the General Studies faculty, curriculum, and instructional practices
Implement and uphold best practices in SEL and classroom management, including Responsibility Centered Discipline, Positive Discipline, PBIS, Responsive Classrooms, and restorative circles
Cultivate a collaborative, innovative, and reflective school culture among teachers, students, and families
Support faculty in professional growth and instructional excellence
Ensure students are well-prepared for high school, college, or seminary and beyond
Foster a respectful and inclusive environment aligned with Jewish values, open to candidates of all religious backgrounds

Qualifications:
At least 3 years of school leadership experience
Demonstrated passion for student wellness and success
Strong collaborative and leadership skills
A desire to be an engaged and visible member of the school community
Respect for Jewish practices and traditions
